From secret tunnels to treetop paths, I’m always asking questions and learning as I explore, especially when I’m adventuring with my best friend, Monkey Pete.

Hi! I’m Monkey Pete, and I’m Cecil Spider’s best friend.
I love swinging, jumping, and leaping into new adventures with a big grin on my face!

Hello, darlings! I’m Courtney Cockatoo, the warm, pink-crested voice behind Cecil and Pete’s adventures. I love books, stories, and sharing every tale with kindness, charm, and just a tiny hint of sass.
With my gentle voice and love of reading, I turn jungle moments into magical stories. I may stay just behind the action, but I’m always guiding, cheering, and reminding everyone to listen, learn, and imagine.
And when I fluff my feathers and say,
“Now settle in, my darlings…”

Hi! I’m Alana Iguana. I’m calm, confident, and I love telling stories that make you feel like you’re right inside the jungle with Cecil and Pete.
I adore warm sunshine, stretching out on sunny rocks, and skating around with my friends. I’m relaxed, a little cool, and I love it when kids join in, cheering, repeating fun parts, and helping the story move along.
So when I say, “Come on, let’s glide into the story together!” You know a bright, fun adventure is about to begin.

Hello there. I’m Atilla Gorilla, the gentle storyteller of the jungle. I share Cecil and Pete’s adventures with older children, and I love telling tales in a calm, kind voice with a friendly rumble that makes stories feel extra special.
I’m the Jungle Librarian, so I know every story on the shelves. You’ll usually find me by the fire, sitting in my red high-backed chair, book in hand, ready to read.
I believe stories are meant to be shared, enjoyed, and learned from. When I smile and say, “Gather round… the jungle has a story to tell,” its time to listen closely.

Hi! I’m Ant the Ant, and I’m always on the move! I love leading the way, organising jobs, and helping everyone work together. If there’s something to do, I’m probably already marching toward it.
I work hard, but I love to play too.
When I need a break, you’ll find me tapping out rhythms on my little drums, keeping my feet (and everyone else’s) moving to the beat.
I’m energetic, caring, and always ready to help a friend, big job or small.
When I grin and say, “Alright team, let’s get this done… and then we dance!”

Hi! I’m Basil Bat! I wear my flying goggles and zoom through the jungle sky, looping and swooping wherever adventure calls.
I come from a very big family, so when I fly with my friends, it feels extra special.
I love imagining brave missions and scouting ahead to help everyone stay together.
When I say, “Ready for takeoff? Follow me!” you know it’s time to fly into something exciting!

Hi! I’m Casper Chameleon! My skin changes colour to show how I feel, green when I’m proud, blue when I’m sad, and sometimes red when I’m a bit grumpy.
I’m learning that all feelings are okay, and I’m getting really good at taking a breath and calming down. Even when my colours change, my heart stays kind.
When I say, “I’m feeling a little colourful today!” it means I’m learning, growing, and trying my best.

Hi! I’m Charlotte Sloth, and I love to take things nice and slow. I adore comfy branches, quiet moments, and a really good nap.
Sometimes I’m the last to start an adventure, because resting feels so good. But once I decide to give something a try, I often surprise myself. I’m learning that trying new things, even slowly, can be fun.
Whether I’m climbing, helping a friend, or joining a game, I feel proud when I do. When I’m done? I enjoy the cosiest rest of all.
When I say, “Okay… I’ll give it a go… but slowly!” you know I’m being brave in my own gentle way.

Hi, I’m Deborah Zebra. I’m a little quiet at first, but I love going on adventures once I feel comfy. I listen carefully, notice secret paths, and explore at my own pace.
My purple scarf goes everywhere with me, it helps me feel brave and ready. Sometimes it even flutters in the wind like it’s exploring too!
When I say, “Okay… I’m ready now,” you know I’m about to have a wonderful adventure.

Bonjour! I’m Flamingo Fleur. I have long legs, soft pink feathers, and I have a French accent, even when I speak English, I like it to sound a little fancy.
I love to dance, twirl, and pose by the water, watching my reflection shimmer back at me. Moving gracefully makes me feel happy, and I love showing my friends that standing tall can feel wonderful too.
I’m kind, confident, and always ready to lift others up with a smile, a spin, or a gentle word. When someone feels unsure, I remind them to believe in themselves, just like I do.
And when I say, “Mon ami, you are magnifique!” I truly mean it.

Frog
Hi! I’m Franklin Frog. I love rules, steps, and doing things in the right order. When there’s a game to play or a task to do, I’m the one who says, “Wait… let’s check the instructions first!”
I like lining things up neatly, counting carefully, and making sure everyone stays safe and included. Sometimes my friends rush ahead or get a bit silly, but I don’t mind, I’m always happy to help them slow down and try again.
Following the steps makes me feel calm and proud. When I say, “Step one, step two, step three!” you know everything is about to go just right.
Hippo Hugo
Hi! I’m Hippo Hugo! I’m big, round, and full of laughs, and I love splashing, bouncing, and giving the squishiest hugs in the jungle. If there’s a game to play or a puddle to jump in, I’m already there!
Sometimes I take up a lot of space (oops!), so I try to be extra careful around my friends. But I’ve got a huge heart, and I love making sure everyone feels welcome and included.
And if I ever say, “There’s always room for one more!” you know it’s time for fun… and maybe a snack too!

Jaguar
Hi, I’m Jamie Jaguar. I’m quiet, calm, and I like to watch before I move. While others rush ahead, I notice the small things, hidden paths, loose vines, and friends who might need help but haven’t said a word.
I don’t talk much, because I’m busy thinking. I like solving problems quietly and helping without making a fuss. I slip in, fix what needs fixing, and nod when it’s all done.
But don’t let my silence fool you, when it’s time to act, I’m fast, focused, and ready to leap.
And when I smile and say, “I’ve got this,” you can relax… because I really do.

Hi! I’m Jeff the Elephant. I love to sing, softly, sweetly, and straight from the heart. Sometimes I hum, sometimes I sing, and when I do, the whole jungle likes to listen.
I wear my tiny top hat and bowtie when it’s time to perform, but I never show off. For me, singing isn’t about being the loudest, it’s about bringing friends together and making everyone feel special.
I also love helping others find their own songs, because every voice matters. And when I smile and say, “Shall we sing together, friends?” you know something warm, gentle, and magical is about to begin.

Hi! I’m Koala Kevin. I love taking things slow, munching on my favourite leaves, and relaxing up in the trees. While others rush about, I like to pause, smile, and enjoy the moment.
I might look like I’m snoozing, but I’m always listening. When my friends need help, I’ve usually got calm advice and a quiet way to make things feel better.
And when I say, “No worries, mate… we’ve got this,”

Hi! I’m Lemur Lisa, and I might be small… but wow, am I quick! I love leaping, twirling, and zipping through the jungle faster than you can blink.
Sometimes others think I’m too little to keep up, but I like to surprise them. I squeeze into tiny spaces, solve tricky puzzles, and flip my way out of problems.
Being small is my superpower. And when I grin and say, “Leave this to me, I’m small but speedy!” you know the adventure is about to get exciting.

Hello, little owlets, I’m Mrs. Opal Owl. I teach at the Coconut Hut, where learning feels calm, cosy, and full of wonder.
I wear my big round glasses, speak with a gentle voice, and wrap my wings around my students like a warm hug. I love helping everyone learn in their own way, whether that means slowing down, trying again, or believing in yourself.
My lessons aren’t just about letters and numbers.
They’re about kindness, teamwork, and growing brave thoughts.
And when I smile and say, “My little owlets, spread your wings,” I mean your minds and your hearts.
Mr. Croc
Hi. I’m Mr. Croc. I might look tough with my big teeth and bumpy green scales, but I like things calm, tidy, and just the way I like them.
I grumble when things get noisy and huff when things get messy… but that’s only because I care. If something breaks, I’ll fix it. If someone needs help, I’m already on it (quietly).
I also make a very good swamp stew, even if I pretend it’s no big deal.

Hi! I’m Peggy Parrot! I love talking, singing, and sharing all the jungle news, sometimes before it even happens! If something exciting is going on, chances are I’ve already flown by to check it out.
I like making sure everyone feels included, informed, and part of the fun. Yes, I talk a lot… but it’s only because I care!
And when I flap my wings and say, “Guess what I just heard?!” you know a big, exciting story is coming.

Hi! I’m Possum Polly, and yes, I do love a little drama. I adore pretending, performing, and sometimes… fainting on purpose (just for fun!). I also love baking sweet treats and putting on big “ta-da!” moments for my friends.
I might seem very confident on the outside, but sometimes I feel a little shy inside. That’s okay though, my friends remind me that being me is what makes everything sparkle. When I feel brave, my surprises light up the whole forest!

Hello! I’m Queen Beatrice Bee, and I may be small, but I have a very big heart. I love listening to my friends and helping everyone work together.
I wear my crown proudly (sometimes it’s a flower crown!) and I’m always thinking of clever, kind ways to make the jungle a happier place. I believe every creature is important, no matter how tiny.
When I buzz around with my busy bees, we get things done with smiles and teamwork.
And when I say, “We’re better when we work together!” you know something wonderful is about to happen.

Hi! I’m Rhino Rob. I’m big, strong, and I like to take charge. When there’s a problem, I stomp in and say,
“This is how we’re doing it!”
Sometimes I get a bit bossy without meaning to.
But I’m learning that listening, sharing, and saying sorry are just as important as being strong.
I try my best every day to be a better friend, even when it’s hard. And when I say, “Okay… maybe you’re right this time,” you know I’m really trying.

Hi, I’m Rosie Bear. I love spending my days in my garden, growing flowers, planting seeds, and caring for nature and my friends. I’m calm, kind, and I always have time for a gentle hug or a listening ear.
When things feel busy or a little tricky, I help everyone slow down and breathe. I believe kindness helps everything grow, just like sunshine and water help my flowers.

Hi! I’m Ronnie Raccoon! I love games, jokes, and sneaking into fun adventures with a big grin on my face. Hide-and-seek is my favourite, especially when I’m really good at hiding.
But let me tell you something important… I LOVE snacks. Bananas, cookies, crunchy treats, I keep my eye on all of them! If you take one without asking, I might get a little sassy… but I forgive fast if you share.
When I laugh and say, “Hey! Who took my snack?!” you know something silly is about to happen.

Hi! I’m Rachel the Peacock, and yes… my feathers really do sparkle like that! They’re rare, bright, and beautiful, and they shimmer every time I move, but that’s not the most special thing about me.
I love to dance, practise, and twirl, and I work hard at every move I learn. I also love helping my friends feel proud of who they are. If someone feels shy, sad, or unsure, I’m usually the first to notice, and I know just how to help, whether that’s with a kind word, a gentle dance, or just listening.
I believe confidence grows when we support each other. And when I smile and say, “You’re amazing, now let’s dance like we mean it!” you can be sure something wonderful is about to shine

Hi, I’m Sasha Giraffe. I’m very tall, with long legs and a long neck, and sometimes I feel a little shy when I first meet someone. I might peek quietly before saying hello.
Once I feel comfy, I love to giggle, twirl, and share lovely ideas with my friends. I notice small, beautiful things, like tiny flowers or pretty colours, and I love pointing them out.
I care a lot about my friends and always try to help them feel happy and brave. And when I smile and say,

Hi! I’m Sebastian Snake. I’m slippery, clever, and I love a good shortcut, even if it’s not always the fastest one.

Hi! I’m Maya. I’m strong, brave, and I love a good jungle adventure. If someone needs help, I’m already on my way, leaping, climbing, and checking everyone is safe.
I might look fierce, but I’m really a big sister at heart. I watch out for my friends, cheer them on, and make sure no one feels left behind. I believe being brave isn’t about being loud, it’s about being kind and standing up for others.

Hi! I’m Toucan Jim, and yes… I really am this colourful. With my big bright beak and booming voice, I love flying high above the jungle and spotting things my friends might miss.
I talk a lot (okay, a LOT), but that’s because I’m excited to share what I see. Hidden paths, shiny rivers, surprise snacks I make sure no one misses a thing.
And when I flap down and shout, “Follow me, friends!” you know an adventure is about to take off!

Hi, I’m Tortoise Tim. I might be one of the youngest explorers in the jungle, and I’m a little shy too. I like to take my time and think things through before I move. Sometimes the adventure feels fast, but I always try my best.
I love learning new things, even if it takes me a few tries. When I finally get it right, it makes me feel really proud. I always remember to say “thank you,” because my friends help me more than they know.
I may be quiet and slow, but I keep going. And I’ve learned that asking for help is a brave thing to do.

Hi I’m Molly, I like to think things through, solve puzzles, and take my time before I act. I might seem shy at first, but I'm brave in my own gentle way, but I find my voice when something really matters. When my brother Ollie gets a bit too silly, I help keep us steady and calm. I love learning new things and I'm discovering that even a soft voice can make a big difference.
And I’m Ollie, the fun-loving, goofy half of the pair who makes everyone laugh. I'm always ready with a joke, a silly face, or a playful challenge. Where Molly brings calm, I bring cheer, making sure everyone smiles, even in the trickiest moments. I love exploring, inventing games, and cheering up my friends when things get tough. I may not always take things seriously, but my big heart and sense of humour make me the perfect twin to Molly's quiet strength.

Hi, I’m Wilfred. I might look like the king of the jungle, but I’m actually very gentle and kind. Sometimes I feel a bit nervous, especially about roaring too loud or getting things wrong, but I always try my best.
I love cheering on my friends, even if I’m standing just a little way back. I’m learning that being brave doesn’t mean being loud… it means giving things a go.
When I say, “I’ll try… but can someone come with me?” you know I’m being very brave indeed.
Zack Rabbit
Hi! I’m Zack Rabbit! I’m super fast, super bouncy, and I love zooming through the jungle with my ears flapping behind me. I hop, dash, and race everywhere I go, but my favourite thing of all is meeting new friends along the way.
I love learning everyone’s name and making sure nobody feels left out. Sometimes I zoom a bit too fast, but I’m always happy to stop, wait, and say sorry so we can finish together.
And when I grin and say, “Bet you can’t catch me!” Don’t worry, I’ll always slow down so we can race as friends.
