About Us
Who We Are
We’re David Watts and Joella Kendall — two creative minds with a lifelong love of storytelling, design, and imagination. Between us, we’ve spent years working in the creative world, but we always knew there were stories inside us waiting to be told. Our biggest inspiration? Our son.
The Adventures of Cecil & Pete began when we were choosing names for our then child on the way — giggling together and dreaming up funny little jungle adventures. Those moments turned into full stories, starting with Manners Make Magic, and we haven’t stopped creating since.
